Modoc Welder Kay Minto One of Ten Finalists

Live online voting for the “Nominate a Hero” promotion held by Miller Welding Equipment is under way at MillerWelds.com/hero. The “Nominate a Hero” contest garnered hundreds of nominees over the past year.

Miller Welding has narrowed the field to the top ten, which include Surprise Valley artist Kay Minto.

The promotion recognizes everyday welders who make a special contribution to their workplace and their local community. Visitors to MillerWelds.com were asked to nominate their hero, the person that they felt stood apart in the welding industry. Through their performance at work, commitment to education and training and other worthy causes, nominees came from throughout North America.
