It looks like Modoc won't get any help like Detroit. We don't have enough voters and we usually vote "the wrong way".

Huffington Post!!! Please... at least referance a REAL NEWS source! Thats like the evil twin of FOX news!

Agreed - the Huff Post isn't a favorite news source anymore.

But then again, it really isn't a news source in this case, they are just "news borrowers" - the actual agency that reported this was Reuters, an internationally known news organization for over 200 years.

Perhaps the Independent should link to the source in most cases - the Huffington post, since its acquisition by the AOL Media conglomerate in Feb, 2011, has become an eyesore on the web, and much too sensationalistic for my taste.

With the internet, you have to constantly consider the original reporting source, not only the website the "news" comes from.

Just a thought.
